Munich: Destination for leisure and business travelers
Munich is the economic and cultural center of Bavaria. Whether companies and trade fairs, education and research, art and culture or party - the Bavarian capital is a magnet for vacationers as well as business travelers.

Among the diverse sights are the Gothic Frauenkirche, the baroque Nymphenburg Palace with its gardens or the Karlsplatz - also known as "Stachus". Under the place, where a medieval city gate and impressive rondel buildings from about 1800 stand, lies the shopping center "Stachusbauwerk", the largest underground construction in Europe.

Already made famous by many movies is the Munich Viktualienmarket, which has been held daily for over a hundred years, except for Sundays and public holidays. In the northern part of the city, two other highlights tempt visitors: the 1972 Olympic Park, whose grounds also include the Olympic swimming pool and the 291-meter-high Olympic Tower with a fantastic view and the BMW parent factory. Here you can take a guided tour of the site and visit the museum.

Art lovers will get their money's worth in the three Pinakothek museums, technology fans in the German Museum and a hearty measure of beer can of course be had in the Hofbräuhaus or at the Oktoberfest! Discover the diversity of Munich and enjoy the comfort in the hotels of NOVUM Hospitality.
